We require a minimum of $500,000 in order to manage a portfolio (investable assets) and charge 1% of assets under management annually with breakpoints as the portfolios become larger. We never receive third party commissions or soft dollars from any custodian that holds our client accounts.
The financial planning service runs in the range of $1,500 - $5,000, dependent on the complexity of the client's financial situation. Business owners and/or clients with investment real estate can expect to be charged at the higher end of the range. We offer new financial planning clients the opportunity to update their financial plan within one year of completion of the initial plan at no charge. We provide insight and technical expertise with regard to financial matters that most clients and many professionals find perplexing.
